What It Is

Most service request systems only work within a single city or county. But government jurisdictions overlap – a pothole might be on a county road within city limits, or a water issue might belong to a special district rather than the city.

UnGovr Request uses UnGovr's entity registry and geographic boundary data to identify the correct jurisdiction for each report and route it to the responsible agency automatically.

Key Features

Built for how government actually works

Cross-jurisdiction routing

Automatically identifies which agency is responsible based on the report location and issue type – city, county, special district, or state.

AI-assisted categorization

Analyzes report descriptions and photos to suggest the right service category, reducing misrouted requests.

Multi-channel intake

Submit reports via the web interface or by texting a photo to the UnGovr Request SMS number. Both channels feed into the same routing system.

Photo and GPS capture

Attach photos directly from your phone and capture precise GPS coordinates to help agencies locate and prioritize issues.

How It Works

  1. A resident submits a report – describing the issue, attaching a photo, and sharing their location.
  2. UnGovr Request uses the GPS coordinates to query UnGovr's entity boundary data and identify all jurisdictions that serve that location.
  3. Based on the issue type and jurisdiction responsibilities, the report is routed to the correct agency.
  4. The agency receives the report in their existing workflow and the resident can track status updates.
