Brand assets and backgrounds.
Logo files, the brand color palette, and a set of cartographic background images made for the places people actually use them: LinkedIn profiles, messaging profiles, and video calls. Everything on this page is free to download.
Two different sets of terms apply. Our logo is a trademark and comes with a short set of guidelines. The background images are released under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 and you can use them freely, including commercially. Read the terms.
Logo
Pick the variant that matches your background.
The full logo pairs the intersecting U and G monogram with the wordmark, and suits anywhere the name needs to appear in the image. The monogram alone suits places that already spell out the name next to it, like an app header or an avatar. Each group is listed in order of preference, full color first, and every file has a transparent background.
Full logo, vector
The default. Monogram plus wordmark, full color, transparent background. Scales to any size without losing sharpness.
Full logo, full color
Raster version of the default for tools that cannot place an SVG. Transparent background, for light surfaces.
Full logo, white and blue
White U with the light blue G, transparent background. Keeps the two-color character of the mark on navy and other dark surfaces.
Full logo, muted gray
Two shades of cool gray, transparent background. A quieter presence than the white knockout, for dark surfaces where the mark should recede.
Full logo, white knockout
All white on a transparent background, for placing on navy, on a photo, or on any dark surface where a two-color mark would lose contrast.
Full logo, black
All black on a transparent background, for print, stamps, and single-color reproduction on light surfaces.
Full logo, single-color vector
One flat color throughout, taking whatever color the surrounding document sets. For embroidery, engraving, and anywhere color is not available.
Monogram, full color
The intersecting U and G alone, no wordmark, transparent background. Use where the name is already spelled out next to it, or as an avatar.
Monogram, white and blue
White U with the light blue G, transparent background, no wordmark. The two-color mark for dark surfaces, matching our own dark chrome.
Monogram, muted gray
Two shades of cool gray, transparent background, no wordmark. The quiet monogram for dark surfaces, as a watermark or a background mark.
Monogram, white knockout
All white, transparent background. The variant our own mobile app header uses. Good as an avatar on a dark profile.
Monogram, black
All black, transparent background, no wordmark. For print and single-color reproduction on light surfaces.
The vector files are the ones to use whenever you can. They stay sharp at any size, from a business card to a conference banner.
Color
The palette.
Navy and blue carry the brand. Green marks something confirmed or complete. The warm off-white is the paper our cartography sits on, and it is what keeps the palette feeling like a printed atlas rather than a dashboard.
Backgrounds
Cartographic backgrounds, sized to fit.
Each of these is generated from the same brand illustration system, so they read as a family rather than a set of unrelated pictures. None of them contain text or a logo, because every platform below draws your name and photo over the top.
LinkedIn company page cover
LinkedIn organization page header. LinkedIn supplies the name and logo separately, so the image carries no text.
LinkedIn personal profile background
Personal LinkedIn profile header. Anchored slightly above center so the busiest linework sits clear of the avatar and name card that overlay the lower left.
RCS business profile hero
Messaging business profile hero, 45:14. Viewed inside a phone messaging interface and may be responsively cropped.
Video call background
Zoom, Teams, and Meet virtual background. Composed so a seated speaker does not sit on busy linework.
Terms
What you can do with these.
Logo files: trademark guidelines
- Use the logo to refer to UnGovr, to link to us, or to illustrate coverage of our work. Editorial and press use is welcome and needs no permission.
- Do not recolor, redraw, stretch, rotate, outline, or add effects to the mark. Pick the variant built for your background instead.
- Do not use the logo in a way that suggests UnGovr endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with your project, product, or organization.
- Do not make the logo part of your own logo, product name, or domain name.
- Leave clear space around the mark, at least the height of the monogram, and do not place it on a busy background that competes with it.

- Free to use, share, adapt, and build on, including commercially, under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0.
- Credit "Illustration by UnGovr" where crediting is practical. On a social profile background, no visible credit is expected.
- You may crop, recolor, and composite these however you like. They are backgrounds, so treat them as raw material.
- These are interpretive brand illustrations. The boundaries in them are invented and depict no real place, so please do not present them as factual maps.
